DOAN

DOAN Clothing is a tailoring business located in Copenhagen run by a friend of mine. In 2012 we met while studying Danish. When she learnt that I built websites she requested my services in building a website to promote her business. She already had a lot of things in place but did not have an online portal for displaying her products and showing her skills and creations to the world. The decision was made to create the website using WordPress to enable her to update and add content herself especially through the use of an ecommerce plugin. The theme used is the same as the Clear Light Centre’s theme as I felt this theme was well suited to her needs and I was familiar with it which made setting up the website quicker and easier.

With the aid of guides, that I created, I have taught her to add new products to the website and make other minor changes within WordPress. I have also helped her to grow her business on Facebook and to create a Facebook page to promote herself.
