The Pocket Guide to Australia

IBIS Rebranding

I originally began working on this as a gift for a friend then as I was writing it got bigger and bigger and eventually I decided to actually get it published and release it to the world. The book is a humour travel guide to Australia which aims to give the reader an insight into Australia, the culture, customs and what to see and do while you are there. Although its suggestions shouldn’t be taken too seriously as some of them are a tad misleading.

This project was my first attempt at a book and also my first time working in print media. Although a lot of the ground work in regards to getting it ready for print was done by my sister and her boyfriend I also learnt a lot about it along the way. The project has given me a great opportunity to put into practice some of the things I had learnt during my multimedia design studies at KEA.

The book is available for purchase via the books website.
